A starter program for young athletes interested in learning and playing volleyball competitively. JYA is accepting athletes from 7th through 12th grades to join the program.

• Program Objectives
  • Introduce youth to the basics of volleyball in a fun, informal setting.
  • Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness.
  • Provide a recreational activity during the winter months.
  • Build community engagement and interest in volleyball.
  • Ultimately develop the program into a competitive club with year run engagement.

  •  Season Start: Week of November 17th
  •  Season End: Week of February 2nd
  •  Session Duration: 2 hours per session
  •  Location: Jenkintown School District facilities
  •  Season Length: 8-10 weeks
    
    
• Sessions:
  • Weekly sessions divided into age/skill-appropriate groups.
  • Each session includes a warm-up, skill instruction, practice drills, and game play.
  • Session structure will be flexible, depending on interest level and attendance.
